Dana & Susan Robinson’s mix of original songs, traditional songs, and tunes always makes for a great night’s entertainment. They describe themselves as “two guitar-playing, banjo-frailing, fiddle-sawing, and harmony-singing interpreters of the American experience.” Their latest album, 2016’s “The Angel’s Share,” features 8 original songs by Dana, two traditional songs, and two covers, Karen Simon’s “Allene’s Walz” and Derrol Adam’s “The Sky.” The songs have threads of Celtic, country blues, Cajun, and old-time music running through them.
